The coming spring, it's indeed a long wait.
I have had to stop waiting as the confidence is diminishing.
Our promises, had been changed from 3 months initially to 4 months,
and now, it has reached 5 months.
I wonder, for how long do i still have to wait?
I told myself that I'm not going to wait anymore after that month and in fact i did give up and not responding to you anymore.
However, to your strong determination, again it hit me down.
Thank you for taking my opinions into account for your very future plan.
I appreciate it a lot.

Since the previous spring to the summer, and now it has come to a new autumn,
we have been waiting and look forward to the day we meet.
Well, is that going to happen?
Is that a trial that is given by God?
Or the devil's plan that is bringing us apart?

3rd March 2010, again i got back to you with a super long message with all my thoughts and opinions.
Still, I do not know what I want. Perhaps I am indecisive.
On the day itself, I received a very short message from your mate.
He was a person that I would like to thank him even though I did not know him at all.
He was the one who passed by my life and lighten up the bulb when I was down.

He read my mind. And he gave me a secret number for me to get you.
I was indeed so surprised by the message and there we go.
We had a chat and I felt more relief to know your current condition.
However, I wonder why don't you gave me the precious number? Why?
Just for the sake of not letting me worrying too much?
nahhhh... not wanting to think about it anymore until I could see you physically.

I'm back. for a sec. Someone asked if I'm still on my blog.

Felt so contented. I'm happy!

Thanks everyone for the greetings and the lunches, dinners, and dessert times, and not forget the wonderful cakes as well (you know who you are). Special thanks to Veronica and Melody for what you have done. Unlimited appreciations deep in my heart!

Finally get back to Glenelg to have the ice-cream that i always craved for!
Thank you my lovely cousin for the days you spent with me, you make my days so blessed.
Great to know you more through this short period of time, hopefully i could see you more often next time. Am going to miss the time we had our heart talk, sharings, sort of knowledges testing, unforgettable trips, and the time we had meals and tea time together! You brought me into an authentic aussie's life. enjoyed it!!!

It's a meaningful day for me today.
No idea I wasn't able to sleep well.
So I watched the 2009 Astro Talent Show on youtube.
Also, scratching my head to figure out the problems in the medication management cases.

Early in the morning, I received a missed call from Melody.
She wanted to pray for me for my interview later on.
I was then only started to iron my formal suits for the interview.
And then I continued with the MM cases.
I don't believe that I can't figure out any problems from them!
Till almost time that I have to leave, I found some problems.
And damn it! MM! You caused me unable to catch my train!!!
For the short interview, I have to grab a cab to bring me there!!!
Well, that's alright.
I didn't prepare for the interview at all.
In the cab, I kept looking at the price meter.
It runs so fast! And from there, I was telling myself that I have to do my best because of the price that I paid for!!
When I got there, I lingered around the pharmacy. The pharmacist was busy.
Anyway, the interview went smoothly. It was good.
I was then went back to my previous placement pharmacy to say hi to everyone!
I was so happy that I finally get to see them again.
They were all happy as well! We had a good chat at that moment.

As I was about to leave the pharmacy and back to city, it hailed.
This is my first time being hit by the hail.
Lots of crystal-like tiny little ice cubes dropped onto the ground and melted.
What a wonderful experience I had!
I got to have lunch with my lovely mates that afternoon and the wind blew crazily that day!
What was interesting and surprising was:
I got a call from the pharmacy that I had a one day placement.
The call was delayed for a week and the boss asked me whether I'm alright with it.
And... I got a good news!!!! I got a job!!! Everyone was happy for me and i was so excited as well!
The moment was like.. i don't know what to say cuz I was too happy!!!!

And we went for class again, getting to know that out Nutrition results were out.
i went back and checked for my result. And again, THANK GOD!!! YOU'RE WONDERFUL!
I passed again!!!!
2 good news in a day! woot~
excitement excitement came non stop!
I love the day. I went for OCF gathering, and again we prayed.

I realised that God is really an awesome man! He knows what we want. He answers our prayers.
Have faith in Him! Thank God for everything that You gave me and You planned for me.
Thank you bro and sis in christ who prayed so hard for us! THANK YOU from my sincere heart!

*Pretty starry night with rain for just a couple of minutes?
Miracle happens when you believe!*

I just can't help it.
It's a pretty cloudy night with lots of stars in the sky.
We were looking upwards at Glenelg, expecting no rain.
That's the hard one. I would say "yes" only if it rains.
After an hour and a half, I reached my house. I was going to leave him with "good night!".
And he was still waiting, with no smile and disappointed face.
Before I opened the car door, "It still not going to rain," he said.
I smiled at him. He seemed so upset.
He even checked for the weather before I left. It didn't seem going to rain though.
I asked him to wait for me for 5 minutes before we really said Goodbye~
So surprisingly, it rained. IT RAINED FINALLY AT 1.30am!!!!
And it rained for just a couple of minutes and it stopped!!!!
That's amazing!!! I had no choice and I had to say "yes!"
That's about it. It's something that I experienced once in a lifetime?
might be...

Everything doesn't seems quite right now.
Journey to the truth was halted.
It wasn't that easy though.
And I knew the toughness of going through this journey.

The daily bible verse for today:
If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness. 1 John 1:9

Everything that flash through my mind ends up with BIG "???"!
Is it? Why? How?
Even in the lectures, the fatty man said a man hung died and after 3 days, He just raise up again. And without evidence, people just take it with faith.
Evidence? yea.. where's the evidence?
Everything sounds not too right for me now.
And that is why, I'm giving up.

For me, I really don't know where am I now.
Life is just seems to be so unfair and I don't know why am I taking up this course in the end.
As I said before, if I couldn't take it till the end, please don't blame me.
I'm just trying to fulfil what you all want.

Thank God!
After all the efforts, finally His determination allows me to step into my final year.
Well, eventhough there were ups and downs that deeply influenced my studies,
with Him, I finally went through all these smoothly.
Lots of thanks to my AP lecturer who allows me to have another chance,
which helps me in the 4th year studies.
Also, thanks to my parents who keep supporting me during this period of time,
and those friends who were in Adelaide, who were there to help me when i needed them.
Thanks to those who were in Malaysia who gave me support as well.

Recently just started to get myself into the busy life.
Eventhough again I clearly seen the nature of human beings when everyone was stressful,
I hope I can overcome all these smoothly with Him.

Part of my study life

I'm so tired now.. still blogging with my almost-closed eyes..
Working in a restaurant is an easy task though.
Somehow I realized that I'm not a multi-tasking person.
And I found that I'm actually very lucky enough.
The first training that I had at J.O.Y Pharmacy in Kuching, was awesome!
It was not requested by my own but by other.
For a girl who never worked before, I felt that I'm so lucky to met such a good pharmacist as my boss.
And therefore, the first job that I had, wasn't stressful or pressurized by the boss.
The best thing was, he taught me loads of knowledge besides medications such as pharmacy management, religious thoughts, studying skills, IQs, right brain functions, etc..
Eventhough it was an unpaid training, yet I really learnt a lot which make my personal thoughts more positive as well.

Other than that, the first paid work, which is my first job as well, wasn't get by my own as well.
Through the recommendations of my housemate, I got this pretty good job as a waitress in a food court.
Again, I met a good boss, who treats all of us good enough.
The colleagues there were also very friendly and we used to share our experiences of living in Adelaide. Some of the colleagues were recommended to the boss by my neighbours as well..
Different colleagues from different countries, we see them as one.
The thing that I like most from this job wasn't the pay, but it helps me to practise my english speaking!!!!
Seriously I love the interactions with the locals and visitors from other countries as well, and the communications with them.
Eventhough I'm not a good multi-tasking person, I think i can still handle a small stall well.
Greeting the customers, listen to them, filling the dishes, collecting money, packing the take-away boxes, interact with the chef, counting the amount, attending the awaiting customers, fill up the drinks in the fridge..
At least I'm still good in these..

Well, I just had a trial at a Thai Cafe.
It was a small cafe as well, but.. it was so busy!!!
I need to memorise their 50++ dishes with the prices and all the ingredients in it.. and I did it!
However, I can memorise all of them doesn't mean that I can practise them!
After observing for 2 hours, I learnt a lot as well..
The manager said that my wine pouring skill was so un-professional!!
Alright, thanks for that. At least now I know how does the professional way of pouring wine would be.
And thanks for the trial, eventhough I quitted at the end.
I had learnt how to clean up a table, how to set up a table, how to open a wine bottle, and the basic ways of attending the customers.. and the best thing was, I learnt how to carry so many plates at a time on one arm!!!
It's not easy though.
After wine or drinks, wait for their orders for entree and main courses,
and some of their orders are not served all at once, additional work to let the chefs know about them, and desserts which are served at different time as well..
running in and out in a small cafe with so small space for walking, halfway attending the customers, halfway clearing up the tables, taking orders at the same time, bringing drinks to serve them as well..
nah.. I give up finally..

Back to my study..
Stop making my life so hard..
Anyway, these allow me to know that I still have so much things to learn.
Without this experience, I guess I wouldn't know how difficult is a job as a waitress in a restaurant.

Lastly,
thank God for all these happening in part of my study life.
No experiences, no gain.
:p

The last day of year 2008, few more hours to go.
Time to say bye bye to 2008.
It's a special and adventurous year for me.
First time having a study life in western country,
and I admit that there were lots of trials this year.

CANCEROUS FOODS / PRODUCTS

INSTANT NOODLES
Dear instant noodle lovers,
Make sure you break for at least 3 days after one session of instant noodles before you eat your next packet! Please read the info shared to me by a doctor. My family stopped eating instant noodles more than 5 years ago after hearing about the wax coating the noodles - the wax is not just in the Styrofoam containers but it coats the noodles. This is why the instant noodles do not stick to each other when cooking.

If one were to examine the ordinary Chinese yellow noodles in the market, one will notice that, in their uncooked state the noodles are oily. This layer of oil prevents the noodles from sticking together.

Wanton noodles in their uncooked state have been dusted with flour to prevent them sticking together. When the hawker cooks the noodles, notice he cooks them in hot water and then rinses them in cold water before cooking them in hot water again. This process is repeated several times before the noodles are ready to be served. The cooking and rinsing process prevents noodles from sticking together.

The hawker then 'lowers the noodles in oil and sauce to prevent the noodles from sticking if they are to be served dry. Cooking instructions for spaghetti require oil or butter to be added in the water when boiling the spaghetti to prevent the pasta from sticking together. Otherwise, one gets a big clump of spaghetti!

There was an SBC (now TCS) actor some years ago, who at a busy time of his career had no time to cook, resorted to eating instant noodles everyday. He got cancer later on. His doctor told him about the wax in instant noodles. The doctor told him that our body will need up to 2 days to clear the wax. There was also an SIA steward who after moving out from his mother's house into his own house, did not cook but ate instant noodles almost every meal. He had cancer, and has since died from it.

Nowadays the instant noodles are referred as ' cancer noodles '.

SATAY LOVERS (BARBECUE)
If you all eat Satay, don't ever forget to eat the cucumber, because eating Satay together with carbon after barbequing can cause cancer.
But we have a cure for that... Cucumber should be eaten after we eat the Satay because Satay has carcinogen (a cancer causing element) but cucumber is anti-carcinogenic. So don't forget to eat the cucumber the next time you have Satay's.

PORK AWARENESS
Try this and see whether the pork you bought has worms. There goes with your 'Bak Kut Teh' for those who love it. Most men love to eat this so watch out before it's too late. If you pours Coke (yes, the soda) on a slab of pork, wait a little while, you will SEE WORMS crawl out of it. A message from the Health Corporation of Singapore about the bad effects of pork consumption. Pig's bodies contain MANY TOXINS, WORM and LATENT DISEASES.

Although some of these infestations are harboured in other animals, modern veterinarians say that pigs are far MORE PREDISPOSED to these illnesses than other animals. This could be because PIGS like to SCAVENGE and will eat ANY kind of food, INCLUDING dead insects, worms, rotting carcasses, excreta including their own, garbage, and other pigs. INFLUENZA (flu) is one of the MOST famous illnesses which pigs share with humans. This illness is harboured in the LUNGS of pigs during the summer months and tends to affect pigs and human in the cooler months.

Sausage contains bits of pigs' lungs, so those who EAT pork sausage tend to SUFFER MORE during EPIDEMICS of INFLUENZA. Pig meat contains EXCESSIVE quantities of HISTAMINE and IMIDAZOLE compounds, which can lead to ITCHING and INFLAMMATION; GROWTH HORMONE which PROMOTES INFLAMMATION and growth; sulphur containing mesenchymal mucus which leads to SWELLING and deposits of MUCUS in tendons and cartilage, resulting in ATHRITIS, RHEUMATISM, etc.
Sulphur helps cause FIRM human tendons and ligaments to be replaced by the pig's soft mesenchymal tissues, and degeneration of human cartilage.

Eating pork can also lead to GALLSTONES and OBESITY, probably due to its HIGH CHOLESTEROL and SATURATED FAT content. The pig is the MAIN CARRIER of the TAENIE SOLIUM WORM, which is found in its flesh. These tapeworms are found in human intestines with greater frequency in nations where pigs are eaten. This type of tapeworm can pass through the intestines and affect many other organs, and is incurable once it reaches beyond a certain stage. One in six people in the US and Canada has RICHINOSIS from eating trichina worms, which are found in pork.

Many people have NO SYMPTOMS to warm them of this, and when they do, they resemble symptoms of many other illnesses. These worms are NOT noticed during meat inspections.

SHAMPOO
Cancer-causing substance in shampoos. Go home and check your shampoo. Change before it's too late... Check the ingredients listed on your shampoo bottle, and see they have a substance by the name of Sodium Laureth Sulfate, or simply SLS. This substance is found in most shampoos; manufacturers use it because it produces a lot of foam and it is cheap. BUT the fact is, SLS is used to scrub garage floors, and it is very strong!!! It is also proven that it can cause cancer in the long run, and this is no joke. Shampoos that contains SLS: Vo5, Palmolive, Paul Mitchell, L'Oreal, the new Hemp Shampoo from Body Shop etc. contain this substance.

The first ingredient listed (which means it is the single most prevalent ingredient) in Clairol's Herbal Essences is Sodium Laureth Sulfate. Therefore, I called one company, and I told them their product contains a substance that will cause people to have cancer. They said, Yeah we knew about it but there is nothing we can do about it because we need that substance to produce foam. By the way Colgate toothpaste also contains the same substance to produce the 'bubbles'. They said they are going to send me some information.

Research has shown that in the 1980s, the chance of getting cancer is 1 out of 8000 and now, in the 1990s, the chances of getting cancer is 1 out of 3, which is very serious. Therefore, I hope that you will take this seriously and pass this on to all the people you know, and hopefully, we can stop 'giving' ourselves cancer-causing agents.

After being away for some time,
after being asked so many times "why don't you update your blog?",
after being up and down for the past few weeks,
now I'm back, but just for a moment.

Why am I here now?
Perhaps it's the time to ask myself,

I'm trying to be strong at times,

Once again, I gave myself a try to go back to OCF.
It turned out to be having much more unfamiliar feelings.
After one and a half month of not being to OCF,
my spiritual growth dropped abruptly.
And yes, without God, we are just nothing!
The faith in God, took me for a long time to develop.
And yet, it took just few seconds to destroy it!
Temptations from devils, satans, ... it's nasty!
Hugs transferred uncountable cares.
Love is definitely surrounding us.
Most of all, He loves us!
The verse that strike me the most that day was from Matthew 6:33

"But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness,
and all these things will be given to you as well."

What happened was:
Daniel reminded me about this verse as he said that "God must be first in our life as Christians!"
Then, Ashley, again told us this verse when we were encouraged to read bible together.
After coming back from OCF, I realised that the verse sticking on my mirror was Matthew 6:33 as well!
It was so amazing!
James shared that he was stroked with a same verse over and over again as well.
And now, it happened in me.
Well, time to refresh God's word.
I believe that He is trying to talk to me and guide me in my life.

"I can do everything through him who gives me strength."

-Philipians 4:13-

Without God, we are nothing.
With God, nothing is impossible.
Don't give up!

放弃的念头不停打转，
没有人了解我的心情，

2008年9月13日，

莫名的勇气让我终于决志，

These were what we had before the gang went back to Melbourne.

Again, it's a wonderful trip on the little island of about 4,000 people.
It's a good experience to have a drive on the whole island,
reading the map,
searching for ways,
asking for directions,
seeing dead kangaroos,
chasing the guard dog,
counting the sheeps,
staring at cows...
it's small yet adventurous!

Either taking a long way to go to another spot
OR
remain at the same spot and always meet up with the same people.

Dirt road OR main road?

Aim for excitement OR dull?

It's a kind of decision making trip.

It's full of decisions which are going to be made.

Are we going to move on or stopping there?

For me, I'd rather say that I'm proud because..
I felt secure in the pity CRV..
and I just have to be a full time PIG along the way.
Also, having a chance to know each other more,
a chance to know who's the snoring king,
(luckily there's no snoring queen),
a chance to get closer to each other..
making the trip reaching the fullest!

So surprisingly,
I received something that I think it's very specially special.

Can't see clearly here.

I was shocked when I saw my image on the transparency.
I thought only I'm the one who is going to spend long time drawing my friend's image.
However, I was so touched when my housemate knocked on my door and showed me this.
I admitted that was me on my first glance.
I was so deeply touched and asked,"Who drew this?!!"
"I don't know. The one who stays with Alec gave me and asked me to pass it to you and said that someone in the church kept your photo and drew this for you!" She ran away after telling me all this.
Huh?! The heart teared..
Thank you very much eventhough I still don't know who are you!
Till now, I really can't think of who is so creative that he/she makes this for me!!!

I got nothing to say now.
My belly is going to burst!
Don't ever look down to the simple dinner..
You just can't feel the mother love behind it!
One of us simply said, "I like baked potatos!"
"Okay! Tomorrow I'll make baked potatos," someone just replied.
"Mo Mo Cha Cha" in Malaysia is very nice!!
"Okay, tomorrow I'll make mo mo cha cha."
Tomorrow night you all don't need to cook ya! We eat duck!
Okay, a roasted duck (without bones) for us. She removed all the bones!
A duck is not enough..
Okay.. We have roasted chicken as well..
Huh?! Guess what! Restaurant meh?!!
Well, it really happens..
Halfway eating, someone just asked,"Is this 鲁鸭?"
"Oh, you want 鲁鸭 is it? Okay, tomorrow I'll buy a duck and make it!"
Everyone stunted.
"NONONONONO!!! Aunty, don't do that!"
"Aiya, you want then I make lo.. So easy only.."
Her daughter finally stared at the girl, "You better keep your mouth shut. Or else she will make more and more! That's why I never say what do I like to eat. Even now I didn't say anything, there's already so much for us until we couldn't finish them!"
The mother started to teach me..
"For this potato, cut this and that, put a little bit butter on it, put into oven, very nice de! Add some baked beans.. fry an egg.. put some meat.. doesn't it look like western food?"
"Hmm.. Oh..okay.." I replied.
Then she went into the kitchen and baked another potato for me.
Wow.. Imagine the extra large potatoes she chose in the market..
I ate two of them!!!
"My mum purposely chose the extra large one.
You know, I bring her traveling around Adelaide, she kept urging me to go back because she wants to cook. She worried that we all will get hungry.
Halfway shopping at rundle mall, she wanted to go back already. We didn't even finish walking half of the street.
I brought her to Hahndorf and she said how come you bring me to a place where there's nothing to see?
I wanted to sleep and yet she asked me to watch drama. I was so sleepy in the bus and yet she was so excited, keep asking me where are we going. I really can't stand her cuteness."
Then the mother replied, "I already told her lo.. Ask her to go back earlier.. You know.. this potatoes need long time to bake.. the roasted duck should be very crispy one!!! Very delicious!"
The conversations make laughters under the pink house.
The mum still busy do the washings and cleanings in the kitchen.
Our pan.. supposedly in black, scrubbed by her until the black dirt all gone!!
I scrubbed so hard also can't remove them!!!
Then the mother said, "You see, now already clean already lo.. Next time if you all want to fry things is so much easier."
*So touched*
Let me have a long breath now.
We appreciate all that.
We requested you to stay here longer.
We need you.
Someone even said,"Can I exchange my mum with yours? My mum boiled all the food because she doesn't know how to cook. Exchange for 1 month would be enough.."
Well, MOTHER's LOVE!! Indescribable!
What else can I say?
We had roasted duck, roasted chicken, Brunei famous prawn crackers, mo mo cha cha, mixed vegetables and baked potatoes for dinner.
Of course we couldn't finish them.
Our neighbour is coming to be our rubbish bin soon.
And I'm going to enjoy my mooncake..

"Tomorrow I'll make popia for you all. And we will have curry again.."
The story is not yet ended. To be continued tomorrow.
Can't wait for the big gathering tomorrow.
Our neighbour will join us for dinner as well.

I get to know that I've no chance to go back Malaysia for the moment.
Well, God has surely arranged everything best for me.
I got to eat mooncake from Calorie yesterday. So sweet~
It reminds me that Mooncake Festival is coming soon!!!
Still remember where did we had our Mooncake Festival celebration last year?

You make me fall in love to it!!! Couldn't explain the tastiness...

Besides, I felt the love of mum today!!!
I got fantastic typical dinner today!!!
Curry chicken, sweet sour fish, vegetable soup, and two other veges!
Awesome!
It has been some times that five of us never sit down and have dinner together already.
Eventhough we have problems in communication,
(2 persons don't know cantonese,
1 person doesn't know mandarin,
3 persons don't know hokkien!)
but it's a great opportunity to have this wonderful dinner together!
The visitation of Melody's mum reunites us!
She cooked our dinner,
she washed our plates,
she mopped the kitchen,
she cleaned our bathroom,
she even vacuumed our living room!!!
Huh?! You came for a visit and yet you did all this for us!
You make me wanted to call you "mum" rather than "aunty".
You really touched us.
Not allowing us to disturb you, you did all the chores.
Thank you very much, aunty! I think "mum" would be better..
I heard that this delightful dinner will continue for few days.

I'm tired..
Both physically and mentally..
I feel that life is miserable..
Life is full of temptations and trials..
I tried.. I tried hardly..
trying not to get angry to anyone..
trying to forgive and forget..
trying to love people around me..
But, I can feel that the more I try,
the more the devils around me pulling me away..

Sigh..
I try not to sigh anymore..
but I have no choice now..
I'm totally exhausted..
I learnt to give thanks..
I was freezing until I hate winter..
and he came to me and said, "Give thanks.."
As I complained about my timetable,
and she came to me and said, "Why sigh?"
Thus, I learnt to give thanks as I know everything comes with its own purpose.

Till now,
I still remember about the topic of "Control your tongue" eventhough I missed that bible study.
I learnt and practised it.
Trying not to hurt anyone..
But I knew that I'm hurting myself..
I always get hurt from someone else..
And I know the reason,
it's just because of my weak heart..
easily hurt by any simple words or actions..
Grrrrr....
Anyway, I'll pray for them..
Hoping that we can control our tongues together..
Hoping that we can put ourselves into the shoe before we speak out anything..

I was blur today..
I didn't sleep well last night..
lots of nightmares,
probably that's the reason why I was blur today..
I was worrying something..
my spiritual growth, my placement, my study, and my friends..
worrying, thinking, praying and planning..
Again, where should I go for my placement?
I need a place where I can continue to grow spiritually..
Maybe nobody understands my worries..
I got shots while I was worrying..
the hurt was deep indeed..

I wonder how happy am I today.
Thank God in the first place.
7.30 am early in the morning,
I knew I was quite late,
but still considered as the early bird.
After opening the page of My UniSA,
I started to pray,
committing my results into His hands,
clicking on my academic record,
the heart beats suddenly increased thousand times than normal.
Closing my eyes,
waiting for it to load...
As I opened my eyes,
besides "thank GOD",
it's still "thank GOD".
All glory belongs to You, Lord!

I started to wake a pig up,
she was still blur.
Her house mate even told me that
he called her twice but she still couldn't wake up.
Anyway, thank GOD again.
We made it!

"Give thanks to the Lord for He is good."

I promised to go for dim sum with my housemate and neighbours
if my results were Okay.
Knock knock knock on my door early morning,
I opened the door,
we didn't speak.
A smile from her (Calorie), nodding her head,
presuming is my results ok?
I nodded my head and showing my thumbs up.
Another head suddenly peeped from the side (Julie) and smile at me as well.
Congrats from them,
thanks a lot.

And yes, we went for dim sum that noon.
Only managed to take 1 picture of the dim sum,
and the others...
don't care anymore..
everyone was busy eating.
Thousands of thanks to Wan Jun for treating me this fantastic meal!
I'll treat you back when I work next time! I promise!
I really enjoyed this lunch and the time spending with you all!

Bought a nice pretty cloth for myself for encouragement.
Yay! I like it so much~

We went Adelaide casino as well..
It's my first time stepping into a casino.
It's a nice place to explore,

Good Chills

A young man had been to Wednesday Night Bible Study.

The Pastor had shared about listening to God and obeying the Lord's voice.

The young man couldn't help but wonder, 'Does God still speak to people?'

After service, he went out with some friends for coffee and pie and they discussed the message.
Several different ones talked about how God had led them in different ways.

It was about ten o'clock when the young man started driving home.

Sitting in his car, he just began to pray, 'God...If you still speak to people, speak to me. I will listen. I will do my best to obey.'

As he drove down the main street of his town, he had the strangest thought to stop and buy a gallon of milk.

He shook his head and said out loud, 'God is that you?' He didn't get a reply and started on toward home.

But again, the thought, buy a gallon of milk.

The young man thought about Samuel and how he didn't recognize the voice of God, and how little Samuel ran to Eli.

'Okay, God, in case that is you, I will buy the milk.' It didn't seem like too hard a test of obedience. He could always use the milk. He stopped and purchased the gallon of milk and started off toward home.

As he passed Seventh Street, he again felt the urge, 'Turn Down that street.'

This is crazy he thought, and drove on past the intersection.

Again, he felt that he should turn downSeventh Street.

At the next intersection, he turned back and headed down Seventh.

Half jokingly, he said out loud,

'Okay, God, I will.'

He drove several blocks, when suddenly, he felt like he should stop. He pulled over to the curb and looked around. He was in a semi-commercial area of town. It wasn't the best but it wasn't the worst of neighborhoods either.
The businesses were closed and most of the houses looked dark like the people were already in bed.

Again, he sensed something! 'Go and give the milk to the people in the house across the street.' The young man looked at the house. It was dark and it looked like the people were either gone or they were already asleep. He started to open the door and then sat back in the car seat.
'Lord, this is insane. Those people are asleep and if I wake them up, they are going to be mad and I will look stupid.' Again, he felt like he should go and give the milk.

Finally, he opened the door, 'Okay God, if this is you, I will go to the door and I will give them the milk. If you want me to look like a crazy person, okay. I want to be obedient. I guess that will count for something, but if they don't answer right away, I am out of here.'

He walked across the street and rang the bell. He could hear some noise inside. A man's voice! yelled out, 'Who is it? What do you want?' Then the door opened before the young man could get away.

The man was standing there in his jeans and T-shirt. He looked like he just got out of bed. He had a strange look on his face and he didn't seem too happy to have some stranger standing on his doorstep. 'What is it?'

The young man thrust out the gallon of milk, 'Here, I brought this to you.' The man took the milk and rushed down a hallway.

Then from down the hall came a woman carrying the milk! toward the kitchen. The man was following her holding a baby. The baby was crying. The man had tears streaming down his face.

The man began speaking and half crying, 'We were just praying. We had
some big bills this month and we ran out of money. We didn't have any milk for our baby. I was just praying and asking God to show me how to get some milk.'

His wife in the kitchen yelled out, 'I ask him to send an Angel with some. Are you an Angel?'

The young man reached into his wallet and pulled out all the money he had on him and put in the man's hand. He turned and walked back toward his car and the tears were streaming down his face.

He knew that God still answers prayers.

"But when you pray, go into your room, close the door and pray to your Father, who is unseen. Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you.

And when you pray, do not keep on babbling like pagans, for they think they will be heard because of their many words.

Do not be like them, for your Father knows what you need before you ask him."

Blogger is back

After 1 month of struggling, everything ended finally...
Thank God for everything that happened within last month.
It's a month of exam, month of winter as well!
Everything goes well during the first two days of June.
I still remember that I learnt a lot on the first Sunday of June.
On that day, I finally realized the meaning of communion, after reading the bible.
Perhaps I was touched by His words.
Besides, also I realized the point of singing God's songs.
It's not a matter of how well you sing.
Well, it might be for part of it as we would like to sing out loud for God in a proper manner, proper voice.
But the more important part is the touching by God's songs, the lyrics.
Do you really understand what's the meaning behind the songs and the feeling of being touched by God's songs.
And furthermore,
we had a bible study on that day as well at Uncle William's place,
we had our nice and delicious lunch together, fellowshipping together,
and we had our movie day on that day.
The movie - Fliddler on the Roof, taught me a lot on the life as a God's children.
It's a very good movie and I really love it.

Medicines & Vitamin C with me..

The following days were not really alright for me.
I got "acute viral rhinitis"!!! (If I'm not wrong)
Viral? Sounds serious right?
But it's just representing a common cold..
Maybe a sudden change in weather from autumn to winter, causing me to fall sick.
Few days of continuous rhinorrheoa + nose block, I was really really tired.
Some more two tests were coming up at that time.
I couldn't concentrate at all in my revision.
I spent a lot of time sleeping and resting but it just couldn't cure.
I ate 5 oranges per day, 10 persimmons per day, well, they're just too late.
My immune system just couldn't boost up at that time.
Then only finally I made up my mind to take medicine.
With continuous prayers and medicine,
thank God that my viral infection ceased a day before the test.
I was not confident in the test but I really thank God when the result was out.
I believed that God was on my side when I seek for Him, pray to Him.

Messed room...

The moment stepping into swot week was... perhaps indescribable...
There were whole loads of notes to be revised.
And yes, I told myself that I'm off! No more blogging!
But, stress just came to me.
My posts in June showed my tension at that moment.
It was a very hard and tough time for me.
I thought a lot, and stress a lot, and thus I called a lot, chatted a lot.
Maybe this is the my first time having an exam here.
Feeling more challenging and much more different.
Anyway, they had past.
Eventhough I knew that I didn't prepare well for 1 of the subjects.
However, I had tried my best. I had done my part.
I do my best, God do the rest.
I surrender everything to my lovely heavenly Father God.

Dinner / supper after exam!

And now, the blogger is back. I'm finally released and freed.
We treated ourselves good after the exam ended.
We had yam seng session + nice dinner or can say supper that day.
I'm tired indeed. I need more rest.
Can't wait to join Sisters’ Soirée PART 2‏ tomorrow!

She jumped up as soon as she saw the surgeon come out of the operating room.
She said: 'How is my little boy? Is he going to be all right? When can I see him?'
The surgeon said, 'I'm sorry. We did all we could, but your boy didn't make it.'

Sally said, 'Why do little children get cancer? Doesn't God care any more? Where were you, God, when my son needed you?'

The surgeon asked, 'Would you like some time alone with your son? One of the nurses will be out in a few minutes, before he's transported to the university.'

Sally asked the nurse to stay with her while she said good bye to son. She ran her fingers lovingly through his thick red curly hair. 'Would you like a lock of his hair?' the nurse asked. Sally nodded yes. The nurse cut a lock of the boy's hair, put it in a plastic bag and handed it to Sally.

The mother said, 'It was Jimmy's idea to donate his body to the University for Study. He said it might help somebody else. 'I said no at first, but Jimmy said, 'Mom, I won't be using it after I die. Maybe it will help some other little boy spend one more day with his Mom.' She went on, 'My Jimmy had a heart of gold. Always thinking of someone else. Always wanting to help others if he could.'

Sally walked out of Children's Mercy Hospital for the last time, after spending most of the last six months there. She put the bag with Jimmy's belongings on the seat beside her in the car.

The drive home was difficult. It was even harder to enter the empty house. She carried Jimmy's belongings, and the plastic bag with the lock of his hair to her son's room.

She started placing the model cars and other personal things back in his room exactly where he had always kept them. She lay down across his bed and, hugging his pillow, cried herself to sleep.

It was around midnight when Sally awoke. Lying beside her on the bed was a folded letter. The letter said:

'Dear Mom,

I know you're going to miss me; but don't think that I will ever forget you, or stop loving you, just 'cause I'm not around to say 'I Love You'. I will always love you, Mom, even more with each day. Someday we will see each other again. Until then, if you want to adopt a little boy so you won't be so lonely, that's okay with me. He can have my room and old stuff to play with. But, if you decide to get a girl instead, she probably wouldn't like the same things us boys do. You'll have to buy her dolls and stuff girls like, you know.

Don't be sad thinking about me. This really is a neat place. Grandma and Grandpa met me as soon as I got here and showed me around some, but it will take a long time to see everything.

The angels are so cool. I love to watch them fly.
And, you know what? Jesus doesn't look like any of his pictures. Yet, when I saw Him, I knew it was Him. Jesus himself took me to see GOD!
And guess what, Mom? I got to sit on God's knee and talk to Him, like I was somebody important. That's when I told Him that I wanted to write you a letter, to tell you good bye and everything. But I already knew that wasn't allowed.
Well, you know what Mom? God handed me some paper and His own personal pen to write you this letter I think Gabriel is the name of the angel who is going to drop this letter off to you. God said for me to give you the answer to one of the questions you asked Him where was He when I needed him?'
'God said He was in the same place with me, as when His son Jesus was on the cross. He was right there, as He always is with all His children.

Oh, by the way, Mom, no one else can see what I've written except you. To everyone else this is just a blank piece of paper. Isn't that cool? I have to give God His pen back now He needs it to write some more names in the Book of Life. Tonight I get to sit at the table with Jesus for supper. I'm sure the food will be great.

Oh, I almost forgot to tell you. I don't hurt anymore the cancer is all gone.. I'm glad because I couldn't stand that pain anymore and God couldn't stand to see me hurt so much, either. That's when He sent The Angel of Mercy to come get me. The Angel said I was a Special Delivery! How about that?
